For custom Save the Dates, I recommend booking 8-12 months in advance.
For custom Invitation suites, I recommend booking 6-8 months in advance.
The custom Day-Of Paper design process will typically start 3 months in advance of your big day, depending on the scope of the project.
Does my custom wedding stationer send the wedding invitations for us?
Yes! All full-service packages include white-glove assembly & mailing directly to your guests.
Alternatively, you can opt for DIY assembly & mailing if that is of interest!
I’m looking for a watercolor venue or hand-painted crest for our wedding invitations, is that included?
Yes! All packages include one-of-a-kind watercolor artwork hand-painted in my studio. Popular options include venue illustrations, crests, maps, pet portraits, florals, and more.
All artwork will be completely unique to you and your wedding, so we can get creative!
What information needs to be on my wedding invitations?
The invitation itself is the anchor of your suite, so it carries the essentials: your names, the wedding date, the ceremony time, and the venue name and address. Attire, if you're requesting a specific dress code, belongs here too.
Every suite is different, and wording varies from couple to couple, but this is the core information I always plan around.
The rest of the details - RSVP instructions, reception information, rehearsal dinner, accommodations, and anything else your guests need - live on the additional pieces within the suite. This is part of what makes a multi-piece suite so useful: it lets the invitation stay focused, and lets every other detail have its own clear place.
What’s included in a wedding invitation suite?
As a standard, all custom suites designed by Victoria Wilson Studio will include the invitation card + envelope, RSVP card + envelope, and a weekend events card.
More pieces and enhancements can be added throughout the design process. Popular upgrades include a custom watercolor map, envelope liners, rehearsal dinner inserts, letterpress printing, belly bands, wax seals, and more!
